1. WHAT'S NEW?
We have made a few more adjustments to the BJ Hickman website. Check out www.BJHickman.com, click on the "Magic Show" side and tell me if you can figure out where the BACKGROUND photo was taken. Any ideas?
On the coaching for performing artists, individual consultations will have to come to an end. My schedule will no longer permit it. I'm leaving up the coaching page through April 15 if there's any interest. (http://www.bjhickman.com/private.htm) Dates would have to be this fall or next year. Then that's it. I can work with one performing artist in New England on a regular basis or do some Communications work with another industry locally but the week-long consultations will be a thing of the past.
A nursing magazine wants to publish a piece on a nurse (or dental assistant, practitioner, or teacher) who has had success with implementing some of the tricks and diversions that I teach in my programs. It would mean a short telephone interview and perhaps arranging a photo of a child getting that "magical" treatment from a nurse or teacher. If you can help, please email (BJ@BJHickman.com) or call me (603-742-4010) and I can set it up with the author.
Also, pediatric medical professionals: I'm interested in connecting with some pharmaceutical reps who might call on you. I would like to talk with them about sponsorship opportunities in conjunction with my presentations. Please let me know what contacts you have. (BJ@BJHickman.com)
Want a part-time job AND BE RESPONSIBLE for making thousands of children laugh till their face hurts? Book BJ Hickman Magic Shows in places he hasn't been yet. Better than Multi-level Marketing. No licking envelopes, no silly benefits, work from your own home at your own pace. Generous commission. Contact BJ Hickman. Contact info hidden in this email. (BJ@BJHickman.com)
My other e-newsletter for performing artists and speakers is the "T-Report." "T" is for tasteful, tips, tricks, and techniques for improving our shows, other presentations and marketing. A place to learn and share.

It provides a structured living environment and treatment program in which the residents are encouraged to develop and utilize alternative, appropriate behaviors. The program also focuses on the residents’ development of independent living skills for their ultimate transition to a less restrictive setting.

9. A FUNNY THING HAPPENED:
Not sure if I ever included this... At a Keene (NH) school, right after my :45 minute program on THE MAGIC OF READING, the principal returned in front of the children and asked, "So, who can tell me why reading is so important?" The child he called on answered, "Because it lowers your blood pressure!" I don't remember giving that fact.
